The Aptamer Database is a curated, searchable collection of DNA and RNA aptamer sequences, structures, and metadata. Researchers can browse, visualize, and download aptamer data, including predicted and experimental 3D structures (PDB files), to support molecular biology, chemistry, and drug discovery research.
Our platform enables global collaboration by providing open access to high-quality aptamer data. Users can contribute new aptamers, explore advanced search features, and download all available data for further analysis. The database is continuously updated and maintained to ensure data integrity and scientific value.
Submission Guidelines
To submit an aptamer, please provide your name or group, the aptamer sequence, type (RNA or DNA), secondary structure (dot-bracket notation), minimum free energy (MFE), and, if available, a PDB file of the 3D structure. Include a brief description and your email for approval notifications.
Submissions are reviewed by an admin before being added to the database. Ensure all information is accurate and complete. Providing detailed metadata and references (if applicable) helps maintain scientific standards and maximizes the value of your contribution to the research community.
